Unfortunately not everyone in the world is given same chances. I consider myself lucky and for this reason I feel the responsibility to support those who live in vulnerable conditions. What motivates me in supporting others is a motto handed down by my grandfather “A life without helping others is not life at all!” For me that is what solidarity means.” With such words the ESC volunteer Ilaria explains what Solidarity means to her: take action in her daily life to support people who live in difficulty.🤲👫👫🤲

Living Solidarity Alliance is a project financed by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme under the framework of Strategic Partnership. The general aim is to increase the ability to work more effectively with the focus of solidarity with young people and find new inspiration on how solidarity can be more present in our society. After a long process of research made by 5 European organisations, Associazione Joint Milano, Fundacja Arte Ego, Tandem, Development center Pangeya Ultima / Центр розвитку Пангея…, CABUWAZI-Altglienicke, the results are being shared through video podcasts “Growing Solidarity”.
